The
Jean Ellen duPont Shehan Audubon Sanctuary, located
at 23000 Wells Point Road in Bozman, is headquarters for the
Maryland/District of Columbia Audubon Society and offers
950 magnificent acres open to the public on select days.

Pickering Creek Audubon Center, 11450 Audubon Lane,
Easton is a private non-profit sanctuary of the
Chesapeake Audubon Society. You will find 400 acres of
protected, hardwood forest, non-tidal wetland, wildlife, plants
and nature preserve. Field trips, canoe rentals and

Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge is just a short distance
to the south in Dorchester County and has 23,0000 acres of

History -
Be sure to look through the history book,
"Thomas Kemp, Shipbuilder, and his home, Wades Point" located
in your room. You’ll discover many interesting facts about
this old house, it's former residents and happenings that
took place here in years gone by.
The Chesapeake Bay Maritime
Museum brings to life the story of the Bay and the people
who have lived around it. It's a "must see" while in
